Abstract

|
A case of achondroplasia which is a rare congenital anomaly was presented. Four fifths of achondroplastic patients occur as a fresh mutation, older fathers having an increased risk of having children with this condition. Once originated, the deformity can be transmitted to half the affected person`s offspring6.15. The literatures on the achondroplasia are briefly reviewed.
